The first official freeze of winter hit Louisiana recently and some of us are left wondering what to do with the aftermath, especially when it comes to your plants. LSU agriculture has some tips for us, written in this article that explains exactly how to care for freeze-damaged plants. Whether your plants are potted, covered, or pruning, this article has the answer.

Although winter temperatures in Louisiana are generally relatively mild, they are punctuated by periods of moderate to severe freezes and it always comes in handy to know what to do if we are caught off guard or simply did not have time to prepare our plants for the freeze.
